Nioh 3: Hot Spring Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Nioh 3, sidcovering all Hot Springs is a ritual for any warrior looking to survive the brutal landscapes of the Warring States, Heian, and Bakumatsu eras. These secluded baths—often hidden behind Nurikabe Walls or at the end of treacherous Spirit Vein paths—offer more than just a scenic break; they are tactical assets that provide a full health restoration and a powerful, long-lasting Recovery Buff that can turn the tide of an upcoming boss fight.

Securing every spring is essential not only for your immediate survivability but also for achieving 100% regional completion and unlocking the prestigious Spa Lover Trophy.

Beyond the instant heal, bathing in a Hot Spring plays a major role in your long-term character progression:

  • Each new Hot Spring discovered provides a significant boost to your regional Exploration Level. Reaching these milestones is the only way to earn permanent base stat increases and unlock the Area Info required to pinpoint Myths, Enemy Bases, and Lesser Crucibles on your map.
  • Many Hot Springs are guarded by high-level Yokai or hidden away in "Dark Realms." Cleansing these areas and resting in the spring often rewards you with Yokai Teardrops, a rare currency used to purchase exclusive Craft Guides and materials from Sudama Merchants.
  • The temporary health regeneration buff granted by a Hot Spring is one of the few status effects that persists even after you enter a boss arena. Strategic players will often use our map to find the nearest spring before tackling a province's "gatekeeper" boss.

To earn the Spa Lover Trophy, you must bathe in every unique Hot Spring across the game's campaign. Because many of these are located in "Exploration Levels" that only become accessible after hitting specific milestones (like finding all Chijiko in a sub-region), they can be among the most difficult collectibles to track down.

To help you achieve total completion, we have documented the exact coordinates for every Hot Spring location on our Nioh 3 Interactive Maps. Whether you are looking for a hidden bath in the burning ruins of Edo or a mountain spring in the Antiquity region, our map markers will guide you directly to its location.
